What counts as useful work by an AI agent?
A practical record of inputs, agent tasks, human review and finished deliverables.
THE EVIDENCE & LIMITS
Explore the records
01Start with a deliverable
A useful case begins with a real task and a result that another person can inspect. UPMI Lab documents work across research, education and everyday operations. A polished document alone does not tell us whether the underlying analysis is correct.
02Record the human review
Separate source facts, assumptions and proposals. Record which parts an agent produced and where a person checked evidence, revised the scope or rejected a result. Only report time savings when there is a measured comparison.
03Make it repeatable
Keep a source list, a version of the output and a short validation record. Remove private information from public examples. The same structure works for a research report, a classroom quiz or a home automation change.
