What evidence supports this case?

Based on August–September 2026 Codex work records, handover notes and retained programs. Generated system illustrations are not photographs of the installation. Checks are limited to the dates and scope recorded.

0101 · Preserve configuration and mailboxes

MailPlus configuration was preserved with Hyper Backup and mailboxes with separate synchronization, followed by file-count and structure checks.

0202 · Install and restore on the new NAS

The agent used DSM and SSH to connect package, mailbox and service setup, then verified real sending and receiving after cutover.

0303 · Automate certificate delivery

When Certbot on the Mac renews the certificate, SSH transfers it to the NAS. Domain, validity and key matching are checked before deployment.

0404 · Verify the served certificate

The installer checks that SMTP and IMAP serve the new certificate. On failure it restores the previous certificate and retains the latest three backups.

05Recorded checks and their limits

The migration-preparation record compared 2,037 files, 185 directories and 4 links across the two NAS units.

The 20 August 2026 work record confirms NAS-to-Gmail delivery and Gmail-to-MailPlus INBOX storage. The certificate-deployment scripts are retained.

Scope: AI helped write and run setup and verification code. This does not mean AI reads all mail or operates autonomously at all times; renewal depends on the Mac execution environment.
